Events in Ayrshire

One of the many things that make Ayrshire and the Isle of Arran such a fantastic place to visit is the tremendous range of events on offer throughout the year. There are a variety of events whatever interests you and want to explore.

For music lovers there is the Darvel music festival which is in its fifth year now and is growing stronger each year. For a full week in September there are live bands every night.

If you are a garden lover there is the 49th Ayr flower show held in August at Rozelle Estate outside Alloway. Rozelle is beautiful with art galleries and woodland walks. The event includes pot, plants, vegetables, fruit, honey, floral art and hand crafts, plus a Children's Flower Show. It is an ideal family day out in Ayrshire.
